Genny Sabala is the lead designer and Contractor at GK Design & Build, combining years of professional experience in both interior design and construction management to provide clients with a seamless and efficient design-build process. After graduating from the Art Institute in 2005, she earned her Florida interior design license in 2014, working alongside renowned interior designers in Miami to develop a keen eye for detail and a strong design sensibility.

Her career broadened in 2019 when she joined a general contracting firm as a project manager, overseeing hospitality renovations . This hands-on construction experience enhanced her understanding of project logistics, timelines, and quality control. In 2024, Genny became a certified residential contractor in Florida, officially merging her dual expertise under GK Design & Build. Her combined skills allow the studio to manage projects from concept through completion with precision and care, delivering spaces that are both beautiful and highly functional.
